Description

This Owyhee Blue Opal bear has serious two-tone drama. The upper body is a vivid sky-blue with crisp white milky banding rippling across the back, and the base deepens into a dark glassy charcoal that almost looks like polished obsidian. The contrast between bright blue cap and inky bottom is striking, especially across the carved legs where you can see the layer line cleanly. The carving has a low, restful posture, more curled-up bear than standing bear. A great little display piece for a desk, bookshelf, or crystal corner. Exact piece shown.
