Description

This Owyhee Blue Opal bear has an earthy, painterly feel. The top is a soft sky-blue with subtle banding, scattered with natural black dendritic specks that look like little brushstrokes across the back. The base deepens into a dark glassy tone, and the carving sits in a low, restful Zuni-bear posture. The polish is smooth and clean, and those tiny dark inclusions give the piece real character, no two bears the same. A great desk piece, altar companion, or shelf-corner friend. Exact piece shown.

🌟 Why You’ll Love It

Owyhee Blue Opal is a rare bluish opal mined in Owyhee, Oregon, prized for its calm sky tones. It’s often associated with gentle communication and a settled mind. Bear carvings (Zuni bears especially) symbolize strength, protection, and inner courage. The natural dendritic specks here are part of how the stone formed, so each piece is genuinely one of a kind.
