Carnelian
Fire in stone: awaken passion, kindle creativity, embody courage.
Fire in stone: awaken passion, kindle creativity, embody courage.
About Carnelian
Carnelian is the glow of embers captured in a stone, a piece of sunset you can hold in your hand. Its warm red and orange hues come from iron oxide staining translucent chalcedony, creating a gem that looks like it was forged in the fires of the Earth. For millennia, artisans carved seals and amulets from carnelian, believing its flame could ignite courage and drive away fear. It embodies the heat of late summer afternoons, the passion of ripe fruit and the steady beat of a dancer’s heart. Carnelian reminds you to live boldly, to move with purpose and to let your inner fire burn brightly without apology.
