    About Chalcedony

Chalcedony is a quiet lake captured in stone, its milky blue and grey depths seeming to ripple beneath the surface. This microcrystalline form of quartz grows in volcanic bubbles and cavities, where silica‑rich fluids slowly deposit layer after layer, creating a translucent stone that feels both solid and ethereal. Ancient traders prized chalcedony for seals and signet rings because it took a fine polish and held the impressions of their truths. Its soft glow invites introspection; it is the stone of listening and whispers, of stories told over steaming tea in the stillness before dawn.
