    About Garden Quartz

Garden Quartz, or Lodolite, is a universe in miniature, a clear quartz globe containing mossy forests, sandy valleys and nebulous horizons. As quartz formed, pockets of chlorite, iron and other minerals became trapped inside, creating landscapes that look like aerial views of distant worlds. Peer into one and you might see a sunset over a misty hill or an underwater garden swaying in slow motion. Garden Quartz reminds you that vast beauty resides within small spaces and that your inner world is as rich and varied as any jungle or galaxy.

Garden Quartz inherits quartz’s hardness of about 7 on the Mohs scale:contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}.

Handling: The quartz is durable, but inclusions may create internal stress points. Handle with care to avoid thermal shock.

    Origins

    • Brazil

    How to Use

Garden Quartz is robust but internal inclusions require gentle care. Keep it away from chemicals and extreme heat.

    • Do not expose to sudden temperature changes
    • Avoid strong acids which can etch the quartz surface
    • Safe for water cleansing; dry thoroughly
    • Store separately to prevent scratches from harder stones

    Recommended

    Running WaterPreferred

Washes away dust and energy safely

    Smoke CleansingPreferred

    Purifies without contact

    Sunlight

Short exposure energises; avoid long exposure to protect inclusions

    MoonlightPreferred

    Avoid

    Chemical Cleaners

Acids or alkalis can damage the quartz surface and inclusions

    Storage

Store Garden Quartz in a soft cloth or padded box away from direct heat and heavy objects.

    Safety

    Fracture Risk

    medium

Sudden temperature shifts can crack the stone. Avoid high heat or rapid cooling.

    Etching Risk

    medium

Acids can etch the quartz, dulling its clarity and obscuring inclusions.

Garden Quartz is stable and suitable for external use. It should not be used for ingestion or intense heating.
