    About Lapis Lazuli

Lapis Lazuli is the midnight sky dotted with golden stars, a rich ultramarine stone flecked with pyrite and veined with white calcite. Revered since antiquity, it was ground into the pigment ultramarine for masterpieces and carved into sacred amulets for pharaohs. Lapis forms when limestone is metamorphosed in the presence of lazurite, calcite and pyrite, creating a canvas that looks like a fragment of the cosmos. This stone invites you to gaze into your own inner universe and to speak with the voice of ancient wisdom.
