    About Larvikite

Larvikite is a dark Norwegian stone that shimmers with flashes of blue and silver, like moonlight dancing on a fjord. It formed deep within the Earth’s crust as a type of feldspar-rich igneous rock known as monzonite, then uplifted to reveal its beautiful labradorescent effect, caused by light scattering between microscopic layers. Sometimes called ‘Black Moonstone’, it invites you to explore the depths of your subconscious and to harness the clarity of winter night skies. Larvikite teaches you that even in darkness, subtle brilliance awaits.
